When you walk through the door to one of the six luxury Brøchner boutique hotels in central Copenhagen, you are in for a special experience from the very first moment. You are welcomed not by the classic reception desk but check-in at the lobby bar, a social space with a cosmopolitan vibe and a cosy atmosphere that instantly make you want to stay in. "To us, a hotel is not just about providing a room and a bed. It's a passion. A passion for offering an unforgettable guest experience. We wish to tell unique stories and to create an extraordinary feeling of warmth and generosity in every detail," explains Tanja Ibsen Nørskov, the Director of Sales and Marketing of Brøchner Hotels. "The combination of the traditional reception and an eccentric lobby bar is a good example of our approach."
FEELING AT HOME
At the unique Danish Brøchner boutique hotels it is all about creating an extraordinary experience that goes beyond a good night's sleep. They call it the Brøchner Way, and one of the latest initiatives to reinvent the boutique hotel concept is a cooperation with ECCO.
The bespoke solutions, the architecture of the building and the local area are key elements of the Brøchner Way. Each boutique hotel has its own atmosphere, story and individual design that bring out the heart and soul of the building it is situated in. From the Hotel Ottilia in the former industrial brewery buildings of Carlsberg to the urban historical architecture of Hotel Astoria and, not least, the new upscale luxury setting of Hotel Herman K, which is a converted transformer station.
The five-star boutique hotel features a stunning lobby and cocktail bar with twelve-metre ceilings, a three-storey restaurant experience and extra-vagant, custom-designed rooms where the elegant white-marble look and soft carpets contrast the raw con- crete ceiling and iron louvres. Another feature is a selection of premium ECCO shoe care products in every hotel room.
