    • Employment Information, which might include Personal Data revealing details of your employment relationship with ECCO incl. but not limited to appraisals benefits and entitlements, titles, organizational data, corporate credit card numbers, employment start/end dates, employment history, grievances and complaints, working time, absence records, salary, wages, secondments, suspension and garden leave, warnings & disciplinary sanctions, application details, performance ratings, employee ID, termination reasons, work accidents, workers compensation claims.

    • Family Information, which might include Personal Data revealing details of your family relationships incl but not limited to marital status, emergency contact details, partner’s name, children’s names and age.

    • Financial Information, which might include Personal Data revealing financial information about you incl. but not limited to bank account number, remuneration, travel & expense details, credit/debit card info, payment details, insurance info, pension info, social security info, tax information, retirement info etc.

    • Government Identifiers, which might include Personal Data vested in official ID numbers issued by governmental bodies, including but not limited to fx social security No., Passport No., Drivers License No. etc.

    • Other Identifiers, which might include Personal Data vested in other unique ID numbers than “Government identifiers” and Digital Footprints which can be used to identify you.

    • Profiling & inferences, which might include Personal Data derived from automated processing of Personal Data used to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to you, in particular to analyse or predict aspects concerning your performance at work, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, behaviour, location or movements.

    • Sales and Transactional data, which might include Personal Data revealing details of your shopping history incl. but not limited to orders and purchases, returns, exchanges, claims, reservations, items added to shopping cart, sales incentives, rewards & earnings and other transactional information.

    • Social Media data, which might include Personal Data related to your activities and information on social media.

    • Survey and training data, which might include Personal Data tied with your responses in surveys and trainings etc.

    • User Account Information, which might include Personal Data concerning your user accounts incl. but not limited to fx log in details, passwords, usage history etc.

    • User Generated Content (UGC), which might include any other kind of Personal Data revealed in content generated and submitted by you on our Websites, Apps, Social Media pages or to us in person.

    • Sensitive Personal Information. We might also have collected Personal Data, which in certain states might be considered as Sensitive Personal Information such as i) Account log-In, financial account, debit card, or credit card number in combination with any required security or access code, password, or credentials allowing access to an account, ii) Precise geolocation, iii) Social security, driver’s license, state identification card, or passport number, iv) Racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, or union membership, and v) Information concerning health and sex life or sexual orientation.

If you contact us via social media platforms to make a complaint or service request, then we will collect information related to such complaint of service request from the social media platform.

    • Cookies: ECCO uses cookies (small files stored on your device or browser), pixel tags (tiny graphic images embedded in a website or email), web beacons, and other similar technologies to automatically collect information when you visit our Website, use our Apps, or interact with our emails. Through the use of cookies, we may link information about your interactions with our Website, Apps, or emails over time, for example, which pages you visit, which links you use, and how long you stay on each page. We also contract with third party advertising or analytics companies to serve you online ads on other websites. These companies use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about your interactions with our Website and Apps and interactions with other websites. 3. WHY WE COLLECT AND USE PERSONAL DATA

Why and how we collect and use your Personal Data depends on how you interact with us, and which services you make use of. The purpose for which we collect and use your Personal Data include:

    • Customer Experience: Serving content on our Website, Apps, and Social Media Pages and developing our products and services.

    • Advertising: Making the Website and Apps available and presenting and advertising our products and services online and via email, or other communication channels, including through partnerships with social media platforms and internet search engines.

    • Understanding our consumers: Analyzing our consumers activities with us (including interactions with our Website, Apps, Social Media Pages, stores, and emails or other forms of communications) and analyzing trends and statistics in order to understand our consumers and to determine how to optimize the consumer experiences, our merchandising, services and promotions etc.

    • Personalization: Personalize your shopping, Website and Apps experiences by using your product interests, shopping patterns, purchase information, digital behaviour and other information to recommend products, services or promotions that we believe you may be interested in as well as personalizing advertising and experiences on our Website, Apps, emails, and ads.

    • Recruiting & Hiring: Recruiting and hiring of employees etc. for our organization.

    • HR operations: Managing and developing our human resources, payroll and finance administration, health & safety administration, IT security & IT operations, Internal communication etc.

    • Security & fraud prevention: Protecting ECCO and our consumers and employees etc. from fraud, security threats, and other illegal or harmful activity.

    • Legal Obligations: Complying with legal and regulatory requirements and responding to requests from courts or other government bodies.

4. HOW WE DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL DATA TO OTHERS

In order to make our services available to you, provide you with requested services and support and in general to operate our business, we will have to disclose and transfer your Personal Data to other ECCO Affiliates (meaning companies which are either directly or indirectly owned or controlled by us, under common control or ownership with us, or owns or controls us) and third parties, such as IT suppliers, marketing agencies, logistics service providers, payment service providers etc.

When using service providers and contractors to process your Personal Data on our behalf (also referred to as “data processors”) we require, that they only process your Personal Data in accordance with our instructions. We also require that the data processors signs relevant contracts providing sufficient guarantees to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures in such a manner that the data processing will meet the requirements of the applicable data protection regulation and ensures an appropriate protection of your rights.

In case we disclose your Personal Data to third parties, who will not be acting as a data processor under our instructions, but as independent data controllers, then we do our best to ensure that they are trustworthy and have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measure to protect your data.

Your Personal Data will be held by us and kept in a form, which permits identification of you for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the Personal Data is collected and legitimately processed as explained above. This implies that we will keep and process your Personal Data as long as we are providing services to you, interacting with you, have or consider having a relationship with you. We may retain your Personal Data for longer if it is necessary to comply with our legal obligations or reporting obligations, such as to resolve disputes or if requested by a lawful order from court, or as permitted or required by applicable law. We may also retain your Personal Data in a deidentified or aggregated form so that it can no longer be associated with you. Certain states’ data protection laws provide their residents with rights regarding businesses’ collection and use of their Personal Data. Regardless of your state of residence, you can contact us at any time using the instructions set out below to request that we:

    • confirm whether we are processing your Personal Data and provide access to such Personal Data (subject to certain exceptions and limitations), which may include a request that we provide you with a copy of your Personal Data in a commonly used electronic format (or provide it in that format to a third party at your direction);

Instructions for submitting requests for access, deletion, or correction.

To make a request for the disclosures described above, or for the deletion or correction of your Personal Data please submit your request using our toll-free number: 877-240-2365, or by email: ECCOUSA.Privacy@ecco.com using subject line “Privacy Request.” To ensure we can verify your identity and help us respond to your request, please include in your emailed request your full name and home address, and clearly state the request(s) you’d like to make.

In order to help ensure that your Personal Data is not disclosed to any person who does not have the right to receive it, and to help ensure your Personal Data is not mistakenly deleted or changed, we will attempt to verify that you are the subject of the Personal Data you are requesting to access, delete, or correct. We will compare the information you provide to any information we may have in our possession in order to verify your identity. We may also contact you at the email address you’ve provided to request additional information in relation to your request. We may ask, for example, about your relationship to ECCO (e.g., Website or App user, current or former customer, etc.). We will use the information collected through the request process only for verification purposes and responding to your request.

We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days. If you do not receive confirmation within the 10-day timeframe, please email us at ECCOUSA.Privacy@ecco.com.

We endeavour to substantively respond to a verifiable request within 45 days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to another 45 days), we will contact you at the email address you’ve provided.

Instructions for submitting requests to opt out.

If you wish to request that we opt you out of the sale of your Personal Data and/or the processing of your Personal Data for purposes of targeted advertising, please submit your request through this webform.

Alternatively, you may request to opt out by calling our toll-free number 877-240-2365 or sending us an email at ECCOUSA.Privacy@ecco.com using subject line “Privacy Opt-Out Request.” To help us respond to your request, please include in your emailed request your full name and home address, and clearly indicate that you wish to exercise your right to opt out of the sale of your Personal Data and/or processing of your Personal Data for targeted advertising. We may contact you at the email address you’ve provided to request or provide additional information in relation to your request. The information collected through this process will be used only for responding to your request.

In addition to submitting your request to opt out using one of the above methods, please configure our Website’s cookie management console to allow only strictly necessary cookies. Authorized agent.

Appeals procedure.

You may appeal our decision to decline your request by emailing us at ECCOUSA.Privacy@ecco.com using subject line “Privacy Request Appeal” and clearly stating the decision(s) you wish to appeal. We will respond to your appeal within 45 days of our receipt of your email, which response will include an explanation of our decision and, if available in your state of residence, a method for contacting the appropriate state regulatory authority in the event you are dissatisfied with our decision on appeal.

    • Text Messaging: We may send text messages you have consented to receive. You can cancel text messages at any time by texting "STOP".
